The hotel was rather shabby and in need of a refurbishment. Room was very poorly lit with uncongenial yellow overhead lighting. The room did not really feel very clean or welcoming. Bathroom floor looked dirty as well. Thin towels in the bathroom. |The food in the brasserie was not good. I had chicken sate which was overcooked and with poor quality meat. The service was slow as well. I had to wait a long time for a disappointing dinner. Breakfast was ok, but the dishes not really hot. I got what I paid for - i had a cheap rate. I will not stay there again and cancelled my next reservation.
Very poor service. We have stayed 1 night in this hotel. We have Booked a massage the last day and we did not check out as we wanted to have a shower after the massage. The staff put us out of the room before the end of our stay when we were in the wellness because they considered that all the rooms have to be cleaned at 11.00 . So we had to pack urgently our things and return to the wellness. The staff is not customer minded at all ! This not professional at all! We have not been informed that we had to check out before we go to the wellness ! That is a shame ! We will never return to Fletcher's hotels !
If it was for me, I'd have never booked a room here. One read at the reviews and you can see why. Location-wise it was a good choice for the festival in Hoogstraten happening in the summer weekend, but other than that it would be a hard pass for me.
My boyfriend arrived earlier and checked us in. My mom and I arrived around midnight and the entrance was closed, it says you can open it with your room key card or call the number written there. I called, and the line went directly to voice mail. Then I saw an employee walking, and he let us in. No greeting, no questions, and it seems he wasn't pleased to even be there. Anyway, not my problem. I proceeded to my sister's room to retrieve my room key card.
Room: spacious, no airconditioning (yeah you read that right). The room had an odor smell, it wasn't pleasant. The bed was comfy but had dirt on it, makes me wonder how the other part of the room has been cleaned. It did have a tv, smaller than a computer screen tho. We also found a used dirty cup at the coffee machine.
Breakfast: the breakfast was good, the staff was super friendly.
Room key card: we needed to ask several times to re-activate the cards as they did not work everytime.
Staff: they are friendly and helpfull (I think the first one was an exception, I hope)
Cozy hotel with friendly staff! Breakfast was really nice too. Served from 6:30-10:30.
Great hotel with fantastic staff (especially the woman Suuz who helped us having the best time)!
The city Breda, a short trip with car from the hotel was very nice with a good vibe and nice restaurants.

Very basic experience, the rooms were quite poor. our rooms were not serviced. The restaurant staff were excellent though. Overall this was functional but not pleasant.
The hotel was clean and our room was spacious. Quiet location and great staff especially the restaurant staff who fed our hungry kids (breakfast, lunch and dinner). The lounge/bar staff were top notch! We loved them and they were so nice to us. I wish I remembered their names but both ladies were awesome! Thank you for making our stay a great one! Cheers
I was here for 2 nights. When you enter the lobby, everything looks nice and modern. Also the restaurant/bar looks very new and modern with nice details. Unfortunately I didn´t have the same feeling when I entered the room. The room was outdated, specially the bathroom. Small damages everywhere, the TV was very small and hidden away in a corner. I think some refurbishement of the rooms is needed. I was also a bit unlucky to have a complete youth football team on the same floor, so it was always very noisy until 23h - 00h. As it was a very big group of more than 20 people, I think the hotel should also pay attention to not put other people on that floor or at least leave some rooms between the group and the other guests.
I also believe the hotel is overpriced looking to the quality of the rooms.
