Fletcher Wellness-Hotel Stadspark

We had a really nice stay in the hotel.|We arrived around 13.30 and were lucky that our room was already available.||Staff was friendly at the reception. Evertime we entered they were greeting us. ||The breakfast was a little chaos, the 2 ladies were working a lot but it was too crowed for them to handly everything on time. ||I we may have one remark... we just missed a minibar in our room.|The location is very good nearby the beach and city center.

This hotel can be described as a solid 3-star stay. The rooms are fairly comfortable but have clearly seen better days. While the bathrooms are well-maintained, the overall experience is affected by poor soundproofing—you can hear everything happening around you. Housekeeping, in particular, is loud, with staff talking, laughing, and making a lot of noise, which doesn’t create a relaxing atmosphere.

A strange aspect of staying at Fletcher hotels is that the showers always have only one all-in-one product. Given that this hotel has its own spa, it’s surprising that they don’t promote their own line of skincare products to guests. This choice significantly cheapens the hotel’s positioning.

The mattresses are extremely soft—you sink into them like a hole. If you have back issues, expect to wake up with significant pain.

On the bright side, breakfast is standard but quite varied and decent. Overall, the hotel is a solid 3-star option, but the noise levels and mattress comfort make it less than ideal for a truly restful stay.

Check in was easy. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Plenty of free car park spaces. Super comfy beds. Close to the beach and the town centre. The sauna facility was great although I think hotel guests should get a lower admission charge. |My only gripe is the coffee and tea making facility in the bedroom was difficult to operate, I think a kettle would be better. |When I visit the Netherlands again I will definitely consider staying here.

Great and clean hotel, very comfortable.

the rooms had recently been renovated. very nice, especialy the italian walk-in shower. the tiles were very classy and the floor was beautiful and it wasn't slippery at all, which we appreciated. the renovation and airco working wasn't finished, although it was indicated that the inconvenience would have been gone before our stay. and so we had no airconditioning and there was some noise. it was unpleasant, but we survived.

Was there for work. Facilities are nice and clean, staff friendly, and food fine. Made use of the spa for a sports massage, but I didn't have time for the (nudist) spa, so I didn't need to pay for that, just the massage. Went for a 7km run around the shore. Felt safe.

Booked for 3 nights, my wife for work and me tagging along for a break. Hotel appearance is pleasant enough and short walk into centre of town. |However, mid-twenties outside and no aircon in any rooms. Construction work going on so aircon turned off. According to hotels website, construction should be finishing today, but apparently not!! Constant banging and drilling all day - impossible to work in the room! Reception not able to give us another room as we will hear the noise everywhere.,,though it will only be during the day up to 5/6pm!!!! Oh that’s ok then…we’ll go and sit in the park all day until they’ve finished for the day shall we…,bloody ridiculous!! It seems as long as they state on their website that there is construction work going on (even beyond the date stated), then that gives them carte blanche to do what they like! Frankly, that’s appalling customer service and we won’t be staying here again in the future. Save yourselves the pain and stay somewhere else!

Definitely not a 4 stars hotel. Old rooms without refridgerator. Aircondition out of service without info at check in. Bathroom was not clean with many visible long hairs in the shower. Wellness is not included. Very loud because of the street and poor isolation and no airco.
Maybe bad luck but I don’t accept this in this class.
