Dormio Resort

The room on arrival was really very cold and given the size of the apartment it took a long time to warm it up. The kitchen lacks essentials like oil and salt but much appreciated the cleaning kit that you can take home. Overall good, very large spaces and very good cleanliness.
The pool service is very bad. There`s no indoor entrance, no real changing room, the water is very cold. It needs to be revised.
If you don`t have a car change location because the only way to get to the center is by cab (not cheap).
I haven`t tried the food services. I would have liked to have seen the spa but unfortunately it was full, I`d suggest granting entrance to all guests given the poor pool.
Very fast check-in and -out operations but cold and unemotional.

The location is great, the apartments are very nice and big. The view is also awesome. But, the cleanliness is a disaster..... the walls are terribly dirty, the furniture is extremely dirty, the curtains, dust on the furniture. Terrible.... it's such a pity, because the resort is awesome! But, come prepared with cleaning stuff and disinfection products, because it is terrible. There were even living bugs stuck in the ceiling lamp...

If you're looking for an upgrade of these center parks, here you go! The buildings are renovated and nicely stuffed with usable furniture. Most of the rooms have a TV. The beds have a good mattress, if you like soft ones.
The kitchen is well equipped with everything that you need for a good dinner or breakfast.
The small downtown area has everything that you need to relax at dinner or run for arrons.
The swimming pool area is great for kids - make sure you stay with the kids, since there is no life guard on duty at any time.
The people are just very friendly and will help you no matter what.

Great place to stay during Christmas. We had a lovely dinner in its restaurant. It located very close to Maastricht and Valkenburg. It would be great if they had a bigger indoor swimming pool but it was not too bad.

Our stay at Dormio apartments turned into a stressful experience instead of a relaxing vacation. We chose these apartments specifically because they offered a sauna, which, according to the Booking.com listing, was available for an additional fee. However, upon arrival, we were informed that the booked house did not have a sauna.

The Dormio reception staff suggested we switch to another house with a sauna. We agreed, but they explained that the change required Booking.com to send a request for free cancellation of the first booking. We checked into the new house, paid for it, and expected a refund for the first booking.

Unfortunately, Dormio’s customer service rejected Booking.com’s request for free cancellation of the first house, without even reviewing the details we had discussed with their reception staff. As a result, we were charged a cancellation fee for the first apartment, even though this issue should have been resolved without any additional costs on our part.

I tried to resolve the situation at the reception and through Dormio’s customer service, but all attempts were in vain. Dormio showed complete indifference to the situation, left us without support, and forced us to pay the cancellation fee for their mistake.

My vacation turned into a loss of time, money, and peace of mind. I strongly advise against choosing Dormio apartments due to their poor service and lack of responsibility.

Absolutely amazing resort. The villas were absolutely modern and huge, and all the services worked perfectly. The private sauna and jacuzzi was absolutely amazing too!

My only 2 complaints with my stay were that, the garden wasnt very well maintained, but still good enough. And there aren't many toiletries in the bathroom.

And one last thing for the hotel, we stayed in villa 21, and the big bathroom's ceiling light is flickering, and a bit dim.

Nice rental homes in a quiet suburb. Pool and facilities are nice. Houses are simply furnished but comfortable (very very soft beds). Things needed in the house are minimal (only 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 towel/person, 1 round of dishwashing soap...), so if you are planning a stay of more than 1-2 days, plan to buy extra soaps and cleaning supplies. Also all laundry needs to be done at the central washers and costs 11€ to wash and dry. If you are going it is possible to get to and from with public transport but it is a 20-30 min walk to the bus (car may be recommended). I would go again!

Beautiful location and nicely equipped apartments! However, I am disappointed with the the cleaning service. We received a room with dirty floor, crumbles and stains on the flour, lots of spiders and spiderweb in the room and toilet has also questionable parts. Definitely not a way to enjoy the room at the max what it should be on vacation.
