Nice place for the rest in ❄️ cold winter. It's worth it
We had a lovely time here. It can be a bit too crowded inside.
Excellent place to spend a day out with children - nice swimming pool with waves, slides, wild river and an underwater aquarium. At the weekends can get crowded, so buy your tickets in advance and arrive early to have some nice place to sit. There are some restaurants ad a couple of small shops in case you forget the floats or slippers.
Nice pools but its very crowded. Difficult to find a spot to keep your towel. Slightly outdated.
It is really nice place to stay for a day. There is not a big variety of slides, that is why I recommend it for one or two days activity. There are also shops, cafés...
Fun swimming pool and okay hygiene the water is a bit cold
Too small for the crowds that are admitted in.
It’s barely larger than a typical fun bath anywhere else. Three slides are for children above 10 years of age the only attraction. Too small sitting areas, no Sauna, no swim lanes inside or outside, whirlpools always full to the brim… and with the crowds very noisy. This made it little entertaining and surely not relaxing…
The aquarium is a cool idea, but it was too dark for my taste, and it really needs a thorough do-over. It looked like never renovated since it’s day of creation ages ago, almost like a nice scene for a horror movie.
We did have some fun on the slides, though, justifying the Stars I gave.
Superb! Visited in the Easter holidays and it was always busy but never too busy. 5 min max queue for slides and usually less. The few slides they have are great fun and we haven't wanted for more. Our children have loved the wild water rapids and although they get very wild inside there are plenty of places for a breather or to get out. There are signs with age and height restrictions but no lifeguards checking so it's left to parental discretion. The two bigger slides are marked 6+ but our son is nearly 6 and above the necessary height so we let him go down and he has been very fine. The water temperature is lovely and a nice relief from the tropical temparature of the building, it is very hot when walking around. It is kept incredibly clean. Nothing feels dated even though I know it is an old complex. My children (aged 5 and 9) prefer this to Waterworld Stoke and Sandcastle Blackpool. Less slides but a fantastic atmosphere. I would put the experience on a par with them. Really impressed.
