Thermen Soesterberg

We were really lucky with the weather during our visit in December! Even though it was winter, it was still wonderful to enjoy the outdoor areas. The atmosphere in the evening, with the early darkness, was absolutely beautiful and relaxing. The sauna programs were a highlight—well-organised. Highly recommend visiting, especially during this time of year!

Beautiful sauna área. Me and my husband aways have such a wonderful day, going there! The pools are also amazing. The staff is always polite and friendly. Thank you for the great experiences we have there, every time we go.

I like this spa, but it is somewhat expensive. They recently built a new large sauna for rituals, but I personally don't see it as an improvement. They also added a few low temperature saunas, which is also not for me.
If you are experienced and like the hot sauna: there is one nice 90°C sauna inside close to a cold bath, and also a great outside woodstove sauna that gets toasty at the end of the afternoon and is close to a cold cave.

Four stars because of the nice look and feel to the place. Everything is clean and well maintained. I want a hot sauna and cold bath, so my options are few given the pricing. For someone searching a relaxing day in the spa and good food however, as long as you don't mind spending the money this place is a very nice option.

I have come here regularly for multiple years in a row, and I see what greed can do to a business. It used to be kinda nice.
Lately, it reached the limit of what we could bear. They do not put a limit on the number of people who can get in, so the pools look like chinese crowded pools and not a spa. There was no space to HANG A TOWEL

A lot of provincial-minded people, loud, jumping in the pool full force. It has become so bad that I shrug thinking about the last experience we had.
We also stopped going to the restaurant for longer than a year, knowing the menu and seeing dishes become less and less, and prices become higher and higher. If the owners and managers wanted to test how far they could go with profit over customer experience, they will find out.

Went on a Sunday. It was very crowded and that made it an unpleasant experience. Otherwise, a clean place with many facilities and a nice variety of saunas.

Greed will always destroy a business!
The drink and food in the restaurant is extremely expensive.
Food is poor quality.
You go home still hungry and with the money taken.
The employees at the restaurant think they are very important and very much with their nose up!

Havi Twitchell is the best!! We traveled all the way from the USA to get a magnesium treatment and enjoy a week at the spa and she took the very best care of us. We felt like royalty!! Two thumbs up. Management, please give her a raise!

I really enjoyed my visit to this Therme. There is a good range of saunas, pools and steam rooms. The pools were a really good temperature too (27°c minimum).
The staff were friendly, helpful and kept the resort in good working order. The new saunas that they are building look good.
I must make a special mention to the sauna masters. The three ladies really cared about what they were doing and their performances in the theatre sauna was nothing short of excellent.
I hope to be able to come back again.
