The most disappointing spa centre I’ve ever visited…
Firstly, the staff has no clue of proper customer service. Places like this usually greet you at the entrance/register and explain what are the facilities and rules, here we were greeted with the price and that’s all 😂
Furthermore, it’s not stated anywhere that on top of the base price you have to pay 4,50 per use of each facility - saunas etc, so the basic price only includes the pools. It gets worse
Phones aren’t allowed - understandable in the pool area but in the restaurant too? Basically you can’t have a coffee and scroll on your phone. And that “rule” applies to some visitors only 😀
The cafeteria looks like an old hospital lunch room.
Basically, if you’re under 70 years old, this is not the place for you.
I came to relax and I left very upset because I was robbed of my flip-flops and the security can't do anything about it because there are no cameras. watch out for your belongings! but apart from that an amazing place, big choice of saunas, great water, good for relaxing 👍
best regards
Great place, the water temp is amazing. Breakfast was very lovely.
Big bummer that all ropes were rented out / not back from the laundry mat for our entire stay. We are not from the Netherlands and we didn't bring ropes. A place like this out of ropes seems a bit ridiculous to me.
Hi!
I visit this place once per week. It's quite good - enough for a regular sauna weekly :)
One pool with a waterfall and "river" + two pools with Hydrocanon and bubble massage.
Three sauna rooms 80°C and one 90°C. There is a cold bucket and cold shower. Eventually you can use a cold bath(small pool inside) or a normal temperature pool outside.
I almost forgot about the steam chamber - but tbh it's not my flavour...
The staff is very friendly and professional. Aromatherapy oils are recently refreshed in the sauna cabins. Thanks for the professional service - you are the best!
I don't use private saunas or whatever. Other services as well are too expensive. Espresso here costs 3€ - in Germany I can get the same quality large coffee (double espresso) for 2,5€... Anyway the ticket cost is worth it to care about your own health :)
Thank you!
The place is clean, beautiful, and quiet, but the water is not warm enough to provide the relaxing feeling of a mineral water pool.
Really good place to swim but be aware that the they good nudes and non nudes days which is not easy to see on there website. We had to buy really overpriced swim clothing to be able to go into a place what is known for an nudes bath.
A perfect example for any management handbook on how not to do it. We visited the Therme for the second time after Christmas 2024, on a Saturday from 4 PM to 8 PM. The Therme was quite full and noticeably dirtier compared to our previous visit. However, the check-in process was smooth, and we enjoyed the hot water.
Around 5 PM, all guests were asked to leave a certain area due to a photo shoot. This was annoying once, but we were asked to move three additional times, and at one point, the pool was closed. The staff apologized and explained that they also didn’t understand the management’s decision. On a Saturday, during peak time, this is not what anyone expects from a Therme where they come to relax.
The biggest management mistake: no communication at check-in, no apologies in the bath area, or when leaving the Therme. If I were in charge, I would fire my leader for treating customers like this. A poster, a small information screen, or an apology should be the least an appropriate management team can do. Just ridiculous, and I guess many angry customers will think twice about visiting this Therme again or choose the alternative in Maastricht.
I's a nice and relaxing thermal bath but be carefull because it is a nudist place and only the first weekend every monthvis with swimwear. Otherwise the bath is nice and they have 8 different type of saunas.
