Glowwell spa

It was a very good massage. The place is clean and relaxing. The reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that I made an appointment for ashiatsu massage, and on their website, it says, "Ashiatsu (Barefoot Massage) A technique in which the therapist delivers deep broad and consistent pressure while utilizing their feet and body weight." She used some feet and knees, but it was not barefoot and different from what I expected. It was still an amazing massage. I didn't pay anything beforehand, and the lady at the reception explained the massage to me and asked if I still wanted to get massaged even though it was not what I expected while making the appointment. I went with it, and I'm glad I did. Everything was very nice except the deceiving advertising on their website.

We had booked an appointment for a couple’s massage at 4PM. We have been there dozens of times and have always enjoyed kind service. This time was completely different. We arrived 30 seconds late and were scolded and were brusquely brought into our room instead of the usual welcome tea and selection of massage oil. The atmosphere was extremely hostile and tense. We indicated our choice of massage oil and the woman yelled at us that they don’s use oil and that we were late and they wete very busy. At this point, it was 4:01. We told her that we were shocked by this treatment and we left immediately. Instead of apologizing, she told us it was good that we would never come back and got straight on the phone, where she continued her hostilities with someone else. We will never come back here as long as this woman continues to work here.

Not only did they lie about the time of our arrival, but they also accused me of behavior I did not do. This feels pathological.

Amazing massage! I had quite some bad shoulder pain and the receptionist asked me before the massage what was my problem area, the masseuse tailored the massage to my needs perfectly. At some point she put a bit too much pressure on one area of my back and I asked her to put a bit less, which she did. I really like that each massage bed is in a different room and the noise isolation is very good, unlike many other massage places. The place is very professional, the masseuse was top notch, receptionist very friendly. Will go again!

Absolutely perfect. One of most professional places and greatest customer service. Very high quality massage which feels amazing.
Here’s what I loved:
-great welcome at the door and offer a drink so one can relax and enter the massage hydrated and mindful
-giving you choice of oil
-asking in advance if you have any pains/any areas that need attention (I always feel akward to tell to the masseurs but here they proactively ask you so much better)
-checking in with you during massage
-amazing quality, they have only therapists with years of experience: know the pressure points well and work them out
-after treatment again offer drink
-amazing ambiance: clean, taken care if and cozy

Very pleasant and professional, highly recommend deep tissue massage.

I booked a surprise duo massage for my girlfriend. At the salon she said she was on her period and would not want a massage. I discussed it with the personal at the salon but they were not understanding. Not willing to reschedule or even change the type of massage. I expected better service because of the many 5 stars ratings.

Lost my money on a couple massage

I had an excellent experience at GlowWell Spa in Amsterdam. The massage was exceptional, and the therapist, Po, was very knowledgeable about anatomy and muscle structure.

The spa is extremely clean, and the massage bed was ultra-comfortable.

Sami, at the front desk, provided a warm welcome and made the experience even more pleasant.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-notch massage experience!

Very good massage given by Claudia. But experience got ruined by the woman at the reception. She was EXTREMELY rude, sarcastic and condescending. She also rolled her eyes on me when I didn’t get the name of oil in first go. When I was leaving, she had a big fake smile on her face( because her coworker must have told her about my comments) but that didn't help. She closed the door at my face while I was still talking. I am NOT returning. This is the second time Glow Well spa has provided a rude and disrespectful service.
In the incident before this, two masseuse were laughing and chuckling when me and my partner asked for less pressure.

If you don’t want to run out of business, please hire professional staff.

I just checked Spa’s reply to my review. Not very professional I would say, looks like you have hard time taking feedback. All the CCTV footage you have, I hope you send it to my email and it recorded sound as well! Because I did not know what you employee, told me, I got up to ask again because I was super confused and didn’t understand her accent. Do you have the sound recorded in your camera as well?? I REALLY hope you do!
Second, I asked for a change because I hurt my muscle in the gym and thought it wont be a good idea to take deep tissue. If you have a problem with that, you should have told me upfront. Behaving rude was not the answer to such request.
Lastly, I returned because masseuse can
be differed and I wanted to give you guys a chance and not judge based on two temporary employees.

P.S. my 2023 was rocking enough to afford a better place. :). Thank you for your wishes.
