The place is great and I recommend to anyone who enjoys swimming and sauna. They’ve got different kinds of sauna and you can try them all out.

One thing to NOTE: make sure to confirm that it’s swimsuit wearing day or no swimsuit wearing day cus not knowing this might be a lil issue.

The receptionists are also nice and welcoming!

Cold showers during the day when they're supposed to be warm, bad service in the restaurant (there were used plates and glasses everywhere). The only good thing was the sauna meister, a funny and equipped guy!

I had an amazing experience with my partner. We visited in early February. The saunas were excellent, the vibe of the whole place and the pools as well. Definitely recommended for the price!

It was a great experience, I was afraid seeing the reviews, but we booked everything two weeks prior, with massage and body scrub and it went very well ! The place is tidy, and there are many saunas, hammam, swimming pool, also it was busy but not overcrowded. I can recommend it

Don't have separate dressing rooms for men and women. Even if you come on a swimsuit day (which costs extra!!!) you are expected to change in same room as men. So I had to use a toilet instead, and they only have 3 cabins there.

That's certainly one way to make sure that people of certain religions are not welcome.

The walls in the big blue bath are black in the corners. Looks like mold. Not sure how safe it is to breathe there.

Sound insulation is very poor. People are talking and the sound echoes on. Especially in Caldarabath? If people are talking in the sauna next to it, then it feels like they are screaming in your ear if you are in the bath.

The massage chairs seemed like a pretty good deal, compared to Thermae2000 but unfortunately both were broken.

The staff are very friendly though.

4-5h here is enough, so you might as well get the evening ticket if you live nearby.

Unfortunately, I have to give a bad review. I didn't receive the massage that was paid for me, and wasn't informed about it. I felt like the massage I got was totally not planned and the room I was in was clearly not cleaned before I came...Big doubts on whether the towels on the table were cleaned ones. Also, people were talking very loudly in the silent rooms. They seem really disorganized and unprofessional.

The Spa Weesp has some nice Sauna’s where you can add different scents via dispenser near the door (put on your hand and you get the scent in the sauna). The Caldarium with warm bath and steam bath was enjoyable even if busy. Also the scrubbing with salts you can do at the shower area felt cleansing and we enjoyed that. Up stairs there are relax areas where you can take a break from the baths and saunas for a moment and here are also the treatments/ massages (although we didn’t book any, so can’t comment on that). There were even some bed-like couches if you fancy a nap.
Over all we enjoyed the spa and had a relaxing day.

That said we did have some issues with how the spa was set up:

Accessibility when going by public transport is really poor. Best may be to take an OV-bike from Weesp station to the place, as with the bus you need to walk for 15min either on a bike lane or on a road with no sidewalks. Didn’t feel welcoming and walking on the road even unsafe.

The changing rooms lack benches. Where we had a locker there were 20 lockers with only 1 short bench, so both coming and going we had to wait for the bench to be free and be able to put on or take off shoes or place bags without them standing on the wet floor. The lockers also have very limited hooks or hangers to place your clothes on.

As mentioned in other reviews the hallways are quite narrow and it quickly feels crowded. The bubble bath at the end of the hallway and the Caldarium are also often full or busy. It feels like there is no enforced limit of how many people can enter the Spa and thus quickly exceeds a comfortable amount of people.

The restaurant has tasty enough food, but the prices are quite exorbitant compared to even more high end restaurants.

When we were leaving, around the end of daytime visitors and start of evening visitors, there was only one receptionist working to both check in new people and check out those leaving. This led to a long queue and felt inefficient, especially since in the morning there were two receptionists to check us in. The queue strechted almost out of the door so that the automatic door would let cold winter air in all the time. In such a situation it would be helpful if there was one for leaving visitors and one for arriving, as the latter process also takes longer. There seemed to be another employee available that came in for a short moment, so perhaps the receptionist should’ve asked for help.

Lastly, the bracelets with which you can pay in the restaurant or for treatments were not adjustable. If you have small wrists you need to hold it constantly and I even saw people wearing it on their legs.

I had a very disappointing experience at this spa in Weesp. I booked a ritual treatment, but due to poor service, I couldn't even attend it. After ordering a cold salad, it took 45 minutes to arrive, and the quality was shockingly low for the €18 price. Because of this delay, I missed my treatment, and no one apologized for the inconvenience. When I shared my feedback at the entrance, the staff just mentioned that I didn’t have to pay for the ritual, which was obvious since I couldn’t attend it. There was no real apology, no gesture of understanding, and not even a discount offered. Instead of a relaxing day, the experience was stressful, and I ended up leaving earlier than planned.

To make matters worse, I noticed other guests were also waiting far too long at the restaurant and at the entrance. For a place that's supposed to offer relaxation, this was truly disappointing. I won’t be returning and cannot recommend this spa to anyone.
