Firstly, the Spa, which was our main reason for staying at the hotel. It was fabulous. We only went on the swimsuit free days and it was a great experience as much more comfortable then having to wear a soggy swimsuit.||There are multiple saunas and steamrooms which are extremely relaxing. Great pool which is half indoors, half outdoors. The restaurant in the spa had a limited menu but all the food was excellent, healthy with service being friendly and attentive.||Hotel rooms were fine - a bit of a lack of storage space so not suitable for longer stays but very comfortable with a great rainfall shower.||Note though that the cost of entering the spa each day is additional rather than inclusive in thge hotel price.||Overall would definetely recommend for a couple of nights of spa relaxation

Beautiful and fully equipped spa with several saunas with different ambiences and temperatures ideal for all kind of sauna goes, and plenty of spaces for relaxing like the outdoor whirlpool or the indoor jacuzzis, the heated stone chairs room or the warm water bed pools.

Restaurant is a perfect spot to have a break from the steam baths and the sauna. Service is pretty good and prices are okay for Amsterdam standards. The vibe is really relaxed and welcoming.

Definitely will come back and recommend.

Had read a lot about this place and expected great things…

Meh.

Stayed in the hotel. The rooms were dated with worn carpet. Bed was fine, but less than I’d expect in a spa hotel.

The spa itself was underwhelming. And the main pool was downright chilly. There are a coupe warm hot tubs, but there were more people than capacity to enjoy those.

With so many excellent choices in region, the only reason I’d return would be the ability to get there on public transit, though even then, it’s a good ways from Amsterdam Central.

I give it a pass.

Did a trial session.
Staff asked if I want to have a PT to train me for the session and after I said yes, the trainer showed me half of the gym without any interest and went back to the reception. The hairdryers were not working in the changing rooms and the showers are basically just a big common room where you step in each other’s water and splash each other while showering. Lots of old people training at a beginner level.

If they had better showers maybe it would be nice, but prices are good.

Love going here when I can, it had been a few years but it hasn't changed much in that time. Which is good as it doesn't need to! Although better provision of English on signs and the staff speaking at rituals is a huge plus. I'd like to see fewer swimwear days though. Used to just be Tuesdays, now its 3 days a week. Plenty of other spas that 'textiles' can go to, why do they need to have 3 days a week at what has traditionally been a naturist spa? I don't think the facilities and rituals lend themselves very well to swimwear either. Can't even imagine going there and sitting around in sweat soaked swimmers, yuk!

My girlfriend treated me to a date night at Spa Zuiver for my birthday; including a two course dinner. At arrival (from 17.00 onwards) we were asked to book a time at the restaurant (19.00). From 19.00 til 22.00 we spent waiting for our food in the restaurant, missing all treatments and opportunities to experience the spa (the spa closes at 22.30). I recommend skipping the dinner option if you wanna experience any of this spa.

Just had a day of spa with my partner. A decent selection of sauna and steam rooms. Massage was good too! Drinks and food was a bit overpriced but very relaxing day

Why in the world this place does not get 5 stars from everyone is beyond me. Anytime I pass through Amsterdam I always visit this wonderful place. I have never encountered anyone but kind, welcoming, friendly people at both the front desk and restaurant while their spa facilities are absolutely amazing and relaxing. I find their hotel rooms to be very comfortable and quiet as well. Some people have spoken of crowds and uncleanliness but those must be the swimwear days because the naked days are always very quiet, relaxed, serene, and tranquil with all facilities immaculately cleaned. I have heard that the swimwear days attracts a more, shall we say colorful and loud crowd, so maybe that is it but the naked days are extremely peaceful and quiet.
