As someone who works in hospitality and on my feet all day, this was one of the stops I felt like I had to go to. Very friendly staff, incredible service from Astrid at reception, and Stella who was one the technicians. From the first meeting, as soon as I mentioned I had a reservation in English, Astrid was able to converse well and give me the details of the packages and how things worked. With Stella while booking a few extra treatments, we were able to have a laugh, especially while facing a little technical issues when trying to book me in.
Everything in terms of food, drinks and packages could be collected on a wristband which acts like a tab rather than needing to sign receipts, which made things so much easier. It also acted as a locker key so very easy to keep everything on there.
There are various packages you can book online, but can also book on the day. I was lucky to book all the treatments (some discounted as a duo package), but if it was busier, would be an idea to book in advance . As well as that, there are some packages on particular days, so if you have a decide to come here as a spot, make sure to see what you like. Additionally, if available, you could book a night stay which is good value. I unfortunately cannot review the rooms and a stay as I only came as part of a day entry, but did see the room price at the time.
The experience was quite private as you are not permitted to take photos and use your phones on waterside, and in the restaurant areas, this is still not permitted, but you may use them for messaging, connecting to the internet and do check ins if required. Things like e-readers that do not have the capability to take photos appear to be permitted based on what I saw and based on the assumed Dutch I could infer.
Finally, you may rent towels for an extra cost if required if you forget yours. You may rent the entire package, but is not necessary, provided you either bring your own or rent one. Flip Flops are required and have to be bought, but considering it's more than likely a health and safety thing as well as a souvenir, the price is decent.
The staff from hotel and spa are incredibly kind and helpful. The facilities are clean, the temperature of the baths are pleasantly warm and there is a variety of special treatments like massages, skin care and relaxing meditation programs. For people who need a day off to regain new energy, I would highly advice to visit Sanadome.
I stayed here for just one night and visited the spa on two days. The welcoming staff was very friendly and kind.
I did miss a water boiler in the room for some tea, especially with the cold weather. Also, the door to the bathroom was super heavy and hard to open and close. Which also didn't have a lock but that wasn't a problem for my partner or me.
The spa was nice and had a great variety of different pools. I was a bit bummed there was still a lot of chlorine pools even though they promote more natural ones online.
Breakfast was quite alright and I was happy they had some soy yoghurt and milk for my lactose intolerance.
We were at the thermal baths and it was a very nice experience! They have all different kinds of pools, the steam rooms were also nice but I really loved the outside pool. It’s tempered around 30-33°C, and because we were in winter, was very cold outside but the pool made it warm. They also give you nice quality supplies to take a shower and they even have private showers if you wanna go fully clean and ready to go out 😊
This is not a real sauna and people are Packed like sardines. They dont even have a real sauna and you have to wait in line to get in the hottub.||You cant get a bed all day to lay down. ||There are way better places in Soest, or zwaluwhoeve.of all the sauna’s in Holland this is the worst.
This place is getting low scores recently because people felt it was tired looking inside, or because it was noisy whilst being refurbished or the main pool was closed.
As the refurb is now finished, the indoor pool area is great, there is no disturbance, but the low scores remain. Which is a shame as they aren’t relevant any more and it’s a great little place.
It’s not cheap, but going to a spa isn’t cheap - and compared to other places it is still quite good value for money if you have a night in the hotel and 2 full days in the spa.
It’s the perfect place to take your teenager to for a “my first spa” experience.
Very good hotel lovely room with balcony, lovely restaurant and bar and friendly staff. Breakfast is very good loads of options worth it. |The hotel has great atmosphere and relaxed ambiance very spacious.|Restaurant is very nice steak and fries well recommended.
Nice place to enjoy, but maybe too busy in certains time...some tubes were too crowded but I guess that it is normal as it is beautiful place. I recommend to go in not holidays time if you want to enjoy the time. Massate are a little bit expense and some people didnt wear the bathrowes and it is mandatory.. Dont understand that
