The rooms were recently updated and well appointed. The bathroom seemed a little dated. I appreciated the coffee maker in the roomer but would have appreciated a tea kettle. The game room was fun as well
as the bowling alley. The spa was nice to have but could use an update. The staff was wonderful.
Good place comfortable and pretty nice sauna and swimming pool!!
But in the rooms the plugs are to far and when you push the switchers the electricity goes off, watch out you need to read it in the entrance of the room!!
Nice place for a relaxing break. Rooms could do with a makeover but do the job. Two bedroom and two bathrooms are good. Not happy that half the people staying are freeloading immigrants whilst I pay hundreds of pounds. Food is expensive but pool is nice and games room is good. You do need a car and village has a supermarket and a few decent bars and places to eat. Good for visiting Enschede and the surrounding area.
We arrived on Friday 17th January 2025 and a 2 bed apartment was reserved for the family. We had an absolute lovely stay. The food was excellent and all the staff were super friendly. My sister, Cora, also stayed a couple of nights. We all had a brilliant time. We played ten pin bowling and air hockey as well. The surroundings were beautiful as well for lovely walks in the woods. 👍👍👍👍
Had an excellent stay with my family at this hotel. Amazing property, swimming pool is a nice plus! Although the restaurant food is nothing special, the breakfast is definitely 5 stars. Rooms can also be a bit noisy but might be expected in this price range.
Beautiful place in Twente, beautiful nature and onpy 28 Euro to rent a electronic vetbike. I really enjoyed it and propably one day I will go back their. Not so expensive so worthwhile my money and time. The restaurant was also good and friendly people from the Resort.
Overall the resort is comfortable and well coming. Staff is friendly and the apartment we stayed in was nice though somewhat out-dated. The pool, spa, bowling and activities were high quality and accessible. The restaurant was hard to get in to (in terms of reservations) as most nights they only had a table after 7.30 pm which was too late for our children (aged 7 and 10). The last night we were able to have a meal at the restaurant and somewhat disappointing was the flexibility. One of our group is lactose in-tolerant and not much of a meat person. The waiter advised us to get the duck or the salad as nothing else could be prepared without lactose. I cook for our family on a daily basis and can assure you any meal can be prepared without lactose. The resaurant in Boekelo (de Buren) was much more geared to cater for allergies so if needed please go there. Other than the restaurant we had a blast of time and hope to return soon.
Huge hotel with lots of different facilities to keep everyone entertained.
